Christmas and Beyond

Oakley and Hathaway were up early Christmas morning and ready to get started. We had to wait a little while for Tessa.
Hathaway full of Christmas spirit and happiness, even though she had the fewest presents (but she did get to play with ALL the wrappings).

Time to open stockings.

I don't know what Tessa is saying to Bryce but she is saying it in true Tessa form. I think it was something about him needing to put the bike together.

Presents....notice Hathaway in each picture is checking things out in her own little way.

Tessa eating Christmas breakfast with her bike helmet on to make sure her dad knew she was serious about wanting to ride her bike....SOON.

Christmas breakfast: cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate, fruit and yogurt.

Bryce's sisters came to visit: Amy Beth, Bryce, Kirsten. It was fun to have them.

No vacation is complete without some movie watching---we love Scooby-Doo around here.

More cousins came to visit and help us decorate a gingerbread house.

By the end, we are all a little tired out, but we had lots of fun.

Christmas Eve

We had some friends over for Christmas Eve. We continued the Smith tradition of eating hamburgers and everyone seemed happy with that. The kids acted out the Nativity and Bryce was the narrator. We feel grateful to have good friends and to celebrate Christ's birth.

Snow

We got some good snow right before Christmas this year and the kids had fun playing in it. The day before Christmas we even did some sledding at the park.

Some days are just like that

I love this picture of Tessa. Snow had fallen into her boot and she wasn't happy. But havent we all felt like this.
